Diamond turning

With our high-precision freeform generator machine from Moore Nanotechnology Systems we can realise many different mirror surface shapes and qualities by diamond turning.

By customisation of both the machine hardware, software and by applying our own processing methodology we readily can achieve the sub-micron form accuracy and fractional wavelength smoothness finish required for applications in the visible regime

Diamond ruling

Linear diamond  processing of metallic surfaces to create grooves of a particular profile is realised by diamond ruling.

Typical examples are rectangular or sawtooth type profiles to implement 1, 2 or 3 dimensional surface structures  for a moulding tool

Micro-milling

Using a high-speed spindle to rotate the diamond tool for localised milling of an optical element is the ideal process for realising array-type optical structures in a metallic surface
